Summary

Hens shall have dust baths. (KRAV standards paragraph 5.2.1).

Difference

This is not covered in EU Regulation 2092/91.

Justification

Dust bathing is one of the basic needs for hens. It is a way to get rid of parasites. All hens should have the possibility to dust bath, this is an animal welfare issue.
