Summary

Piglets should not be weaned until they are 7 weeks old (KRAV standards paragraph 5.3.19).

Difference

In EU Regulation 2091/91 pigs should not be weaned before 40 days.

Justification

It might seem that the 9 extra days is a short time but on a fifth of its lifespan the piglet is quite much stronger and also more resistant against diseases.
