This standard is more precise than the EU Regulation 2092/91.

Justification

Some of the treatments (attaching elastic bands to the tails of sheep, tail-docking, cutting of teeth, trimming of beaks) mentioned in Annex I B 6.1.2 are not allowed according to the Finnish animal protection law (396/1996.
