Type of support - who can get support for certification and on which conditions

All certification and control costs of the organic certifcation scheme is free of charge for the Danish operators as long as they are certified according to the Danish organic regulation and the EU regulation EC 834/2007. The two governmental bodies, the Plant Directorate and the Food and Veterinary Agency are responsible for the certification and control and the costs for their services are part of the Finance Act. However, certification and control of processors or wholesalers according to other standards, e.g. US-NOP or JAS are not free of charge.
