The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration is the public authority responsible for the regulation and control of organic processors apart from farm suppliers, wholesalers, packing departments, importers, restaurants and catering companies. The red "Ø" logo is the control logo used. The organic legislation for catering and restaurants is outside the scope of the EU regulation and there are special quality logos connected to this certification scheme, which is not free of charge. There are 3 types of logos, "30-60% organic" in bronze, "60-90% organic" in silver and "90-100% organic" in gold. The price for use of an "organic dinner logo" and the running control is: registration as user of an "organic dinner" logo: 1000 DKK (134 €) Change of the registration as user of an "organic dinner" logo: 600 DKK (80,40 €) Running control of an "organic dinner" logo: 720 DKK (96,50 €)
