Type of support - who can get support for certification and on which conditions

Farmers can get support for payment of certification costs on the condition that they are on the regional list of organic operators and that they will apply the organic production method for their whole production system: Besides they will have to certify at least 90% of their certifiable production.

Level of subsidies for payment of certification and/or inspection for the various operator types in national currency

Farmers can get support for 100% of the total annual fee up to a maximum of 3000 €/year

Name of the subsidy scheme and the period it runs for:

Measure 132 (Participation of farmers in food quality schemes) under the rural development plan, which is running for the period 2007-2013
