Summary

Animals must be fed with bio-dynamic or organic fodder: no conventional fodder is allowed (with the exception of minerals and emergency cases).

Difference

DEMETER does not accept any conventional fodder on their farms with the only exception for cases of emergency. EU Regulation 2092/91 does allow certain limited ratios of non-organic fodder.
