Summary

In connection with the Codex Alimentarius Austriacus A 8 maximum levels of nitrate for vegetables are defined. (BA-Rules chapter 4.1.8)

Difference

The Bio Austria General Standard contains a further restriction than EU Regulation 2092/91, which does not have a restriction of the nitrate level in vegetables.
