Summary

Conversion of the entire holding is required for the certification of any EKOLAND organic farm.

Difference

EKOLAND standards require the whole farm to be converted, and not only the production unit, as defined in the EU Regulation 2092/91.

Justification

The main reason is to keep the green image of the Association and to assure consumer trust.
